I believe people lack imagination. If we would all see that we could make a floor like that out of "thrown away wood" there would not be thrown away wood. Imagination is what sets artists apart.
Look at earthships for instance, who ever tought of using bottles to fill up wall space?
I have built earth ships before and MANY buildings out of trash. A whole little village really.
