Jordan Peterson debate with Postmodernism at the UofT
The most striking thing about Peterson's approach to this discussion (and any discussion he has) is that he doesn't go in with the intention of landing blows, and beating his opponent into submission. Peterson truly wishes for dialogue - two way communication. He tries to let his opponent speak, asking appropriate questions to allow the opponent's position to be fully fleshed out. Then, he asks a couple of poignant questions, and launches into his answer.
This approach is verymuch like my namesake's method. Thomas Aquinas explores every possible argument that can be made, and he gives them a life of their own, with sources and everything. Then he refutes them, one at a time. Jordan Peterson does this effectively, and it looks effortless.
However, this approach does not usually work with SJWs and Feminists and other social Marxists. They do not want debate. They want to SHUT YOU UP.
At this debate at the University of Toronto last fall, the organizers had to drag in a feminist from the opposite side of Canada
to debate Peterson, because nobody wanted to let him speak. They fear him, and they cannot let him have a platform.
Oh well.... He is an absolute monster now thanks to them, and they are running scared.

But, if you end up having a dialogue, then someone might actually learn something. And that something they might learn is that the system they keep backing has been shown to fail time and time again over the past 100 years or so. So, it doesn't benefit them to allow the other side to talk. They are afraid that people really will get woke and there's no coming back from taking the red pill.
Heaven forbid actual learning goes on at a university! The whole debate is a real trip. The viewer is always wondering when Peterson will throw his arms in the air and walk out. But he is stronger-willed than any of those types.

I don't think I could put up with what he does, without starting calling them morons.
