A Kitchen !!

Unexpectedly when I went to get water I came across some nice new 12mm chip board and I could see that it seemed to be the perfect width and almost double the length of what I needed to make a work top from, and cut a hole in for the long awaited sink that's been kicking around by the back door since over a year.

Today it happened! If I took my camera with I could have made better pics, but as its sunday, I decided why not do it now as I just got the material I was needing and so its done... well the fitting of the sink is done and next will be the drainage which will be very easy as we live in nature.

It fitted perfectly, there's just a few mm that needs to come off later whenever.

Such a luxury really, it didn't take that long at all. I don't have a jigsaw cutter here but its easy to cut out a big circle, with many small circles! I used a 11 mm flat bit (found in the trash on the street of a house clearout in a tool kit) and did the hole for the sink.

I soon saw that it looked too white now the cupboard is there, and so I added a row of black tiles to the wall.

I still have another bit, which is huge, but I think I might use it outside to hold fire wood against under the small roof that covers the wood pile. I moved it out a but further from the wall of the cabin so it now keeps a lot more dry which was a good idea.

There's also a piece that I will use for where the gas oven is, for it to sit on, and also the offcut from the sink bit could be made into a bench chest thing that opens up. I will need a place to put the tools soon that are in the kitchen. There is a good place for it in the lounge.
