These photos are fierce. And making tools instead of buying is priceless, my 12-year-old son spends hours outside making tools. I can't wait to tell him about the melted silver. It's nice to know that more men are taking back the ways of living that feel most innate to them.

My dad is 70 and still does these types of projects. He spent his working years painting submarines above and below water. He came home smelling of paint and hard work, and he loved it. Nostalgia.
