This is putting it mildly. In countries with more than two parties to choose from you can effectively get less than 30% of the population choosing the government meaning that the wishes of 70% or more are overridden. A democracy is most certainly not the decision of the majority.
I also don't think the parties even bother undoing much of what the previous party put in place. They're all pretty much the same, just a slightly different mantra.

You are right, the greatest difference would be Free Market or not, but still almost the same... Atleast if we are not talking about radicalisms of course.
