Some days ago I was talking to that guy who told me that he really admires German tanks. For a moment I was just thinking "What the hell am I supposed to answer?"

Damn, we are talking about thanks!

I don’t want to turn this post into a debate about gun rights or into something like it’s not the gun which kills, it’s the person who uses it.

Damn, we are talking about fucking tanks.

If you actually try to recall in which ways tanks are used, I’m not sure if there is really something to admire.
Those things are build to kill people. To take down whole groups of people, whole buildings and vehicles. And other fucking tanks too.

But hell yeah, let's praise the good ol' German Wehrmacht tanks!! Hey ho, Hey ho!!

They were only build to enforce a brutal war of aggression and extermination. Truly something to marvel about.

How many people, and I’m not only talking about soldiers died because of those killing machines, how many civilians and also children were just run over by those monster?

And then even better, he kept on talking and told me he is collecting WW II Wehrmacht helmets, and he is especially proud about that helmet with a bullet hole. Apparently you can't damn buy those things in Australia, but long live the Internet!

How am I supposed to think of that guy, who obviously has some fable for war and war stories and who praised the glory of the German Wehrmacht? And who likes to tell me about this at any given chance.

That dude is actually not just a looner or some crazy weirdo at all. He even works with kids and does have some kind of social reputation. Man, you should have seen the glow in his eyes when he was talking.

Or am I am the one who is the strange guy here? The one wearing his dusty glasses of political correctness since I cant' I see beyond my own nose?

Someone, please enlighten me!
