Political magic and donations will smooth over all these silly questions of yours. Don't worry ;) The state will no longer be violent if this fellow gets the majority vote, because the people will have spoken and even though the state is a mass-murderous, hopelessly violent and ultra powerful machine, it will concede because...reasons. See? It's that easy.
