Aww gee, we're doomed...

in #freedom7 years ago

I really don't see how this world can continue to exist as it is.
I can't help but feel like this entire society is crumbling, teetering so utterly dangerously on the edge of doom.

How much longer will this last? Can we just be over with it? Or are we going to have to suffer for even longer?

This agony is unbearable, and I don't think we can make it any longer. We're going to react somehow, and it's going to be hideously violent.

What's about to happen is terrifying. It's a haunting proposition that we all keep hearing about. Total insurrection.

But why? Why not just ignore the turmoil, and keep building? Why not make more gadgets, more food, more nice houses, and just keep increasing our quality of life?

Why must we have all these unjust laws and bizarre policies? Why is social brainwashing so incredibly intensive and thorough? It's truly disturbing to think most people in this world are in religious or political cults, even today.

Well anyways, we haven't got a chance. I wonder if you have any ideas. Comment below if you do.

your post makes me think of this:

Ahhh, I saw that years ago.
So true though.

You know, each generation saw society crumbling and felt the world was on the brink. This time may be bigger and worse than prior times, but we will survive.

So keep building as once the dust settles from these turmoils, life will continue.

The only sane way to live in these insane times is to stay positive and optimistic, treating all beings with kindness and compassion. From our individual perspective human life is a tragedy. Seen globally, the story of our human civilisation is (bad? tragic?) comedy. Anyhow, this attitude helps me to stay positive and sane. It works for me, but different people find their own strategies to navigate life.

Three words: Economics

It's eerie how much this sounds like it came from my own mind. My thoughts and concerns are aligned with yours, except when it comes to you rclosing sentence. I firmly believe that we do have a chance, and that the greatest weapon our enemies possess is the illusion that we do not.
Powerful words. +1 upvote, follow and resteem.

At this point, it's too late for humanity to change; we are on an evolutionary path to self destruction and until we change, we will face EXTINCTION.

I've often thought this way. I think the only thing to do is to love people and try to find a way to be of service to people. If everyone did this, there would be an abundance for everyone. It also helps that science says humans are actually terrible at predicting the future. We really don't know what will happen.
