I just became a fan of Henry David Thoreau. Would be sure to check out all his works. I'm also an advocate of independence and simple living, I personally think if more people would try to attain independence, self reliance and try to keep all their needs as uncomplicated as possible then we have a better chance of enriching our lives with more success.
