Blocks Breaking Chains

Invision a world where the production and exchange of goods and services are mostly taken care of by AI and robots. Where humanity's primary activity is just being human. Where platforms like Steem and it's spawn become integral to our social and individual being.
Far from suggesting that we are doomed to a future of screentime and obsession, but that we properly utilize technology in order to firstly; free us from necessity, and then to facilitate, not only abundance, but also the results of abundance.

A human existence filled with creation, exploration, interaction and development. Lives of travel, arts, adventure, science and enhancement; given meaning by open sharing appreciation and validation through reward based social platforms. There needn't be stagnation and devolution. Many will surely continue in the pursuit of the advancement of knowledge or expression of inspiration without a prerequired need to prove industriousness; but for positive validation and affirmation from peers, associates and companions.

Have blockchain devs stumbled on the answer to satisfying the needs of our human heritage, as we venture into the inevitable future of unimagined change?
A way to give value to, and reward our intrinsic humanity.. without requiring conformity, compliance or even unvoluntary effort..

Can this daydream of mine be realized? Does my ideal even sufficiently express the potential? I can't be sure... but it's a glimpse of a possible course that just maybe open.... if something like it... is indeed what we want...
