Words, Actions, Ideas, Steemit...
Everyone gives what he has. The soldier gives strength, the merchant goods, the teacher instruction, the farmer rice, the fisherman fish. – Herman Hesse
The simplicity yet practical use of this quote. Thinking about it more closely, you can come up with some updates to it of your own. For example: haters hate because that’s the only thing they, unfortunately, have to share - hatred. People calling other people fake and dishonest without any strong basis, doing it anonymously, might be fake and dishonest themselves, if we follow Hesse’s quote. So, it’s simple. Each and every human has both physical and psychological/mental goods they emanate and share to their family, loved ones, people and friends around them, the community they belong to, their country, the global society, the Universe.
Following this, it’s not just who we are by the community standard that defines us as human beings, it’s what and how we share our goods. Considering the matter of sharing physical goods a different story, I will concentrate this elaboration on psychological and mental “assets” that we posses.
Acta non Verba – Actions not Words...
...Latins used to say. They are considered to be the most practical society in the history of mankind, and by that simple thinking they managed to overcome many great threats to their society, though I’m condemning their conquest and slave system. But, eventually, classes like plebs and slaves learned from their masters and got their rights, with abolition of of debt bondage, rebellions that increased their position... no connection, later on Romans just fell to this trend of cunning politicians “words” and came up with another saying: Panem et circensis – Bread and games, which was describing their decadence and downfall as a funcionating civilization eventually leading to them to disappearance on political map.
Words and Actions
In modern global society need to be able to practicise Verba et actiones – Words and actions, in it's full meaning. Firstly words. Not just that words are asset of their own, but because they are the fuel of engine of every human’s idea and action. They are coming from the core of individual's mind. Words are expression of the soul, and they give signals with what kind of soul you are dealing with. Thus, paying attention to the words of others can be beneficial in predicting on how they will act in the future. For example: you can easily predict if one politician or public speaker is being populistic and possibly dishonest just by analyzing the occasion and the overall situation of the topic in which they are using populism to gain followers, support, influence and power. Many dictators through history came in power just by using their words. Violence was an alternative and secondary method that naturally followed up unrealistic ideas and promises.
In the beginning of their speaches they sounded full of overwhelming optimism of joy they will bring, their phrases were pointed to the basic economic needs of impoverished masses, or those who have lost too much by the actions of those in power currently. But in reality: they were just full of utopistic promises, with happily ever after conclusions. After this first initial phase of continuous repeating words to the masses, they started to use words to strike fear in their listeners. Creating kind of political FOMO, if they are not elected or supported. This is happening even today and has happened so many times that it has becomed a regular cliché that just shows how powerful the words and how they make a difference.
Whenever I see that kind of story, where everybody agrees, I know there's something wrong.
― Nat Hentoff
Now, when the “words” phase of an individual or collective movement has finished, it’s time for action. Dealing with populistic and unrealistic side, many people and opponents will suffer because it’s designated to be so – unrealistic ideas always must lead to violence. They have no sane and rational foundations, thus violence is there to compensate. It's also used as a distraction by the founders of these ideas, to avoid attention and blame. Same applies to religions fanatics and other populistic novels that we have opportunity to watch nowadays. Millions of innocent people start to suffer just from someone’s words that masses, being in unpriviledged social condition, blinded by the fake utopistic light, naturally forgot, uninformed or had no willpower to see and prevent in time.
So, how to make actions follow the good words and great ideas?
There are more ideas on earth than intellectuals imagine. And these ideas are more active, stronger, more resistant, more passionate than "politicians" think. We have to be there at the birth of ideas, the bursting outward of their force: not in books expressing them, but in events manifesting this force,in struggles carried on around ideas, for or against them. Ideas do not rule the world. But it is because the world has ideas (and because it constantly produces them) that it is not passively ruled by those who are its leaders or those who would like to teach it, once and for all, what it must think.
― Michel Foucault
The key lies in how the particular idea is manifested. As described above, destructive ideas are usually manifested through using populism and having unrealistic foundations - executed through violence. So, to prevent destructive elements from gaining ground and supporters in their cause – we need enough informed, free from all kinds of manipulations, rational, politically, psychologically, economically educated society with independent movements. We need public speakers questioning every aspect of every triggered idea and event. Through decentralized social-media, everyone needs to have a free and clear overlook on crucial and less important events. Everyone needs to know their rights when these events are happening, so to be able to interact in them and, when needed, being in position strong enough to stop them. Somehow this is going directly to decentralized social media…
Steemit
Steemit is a true paradigm of how actions should follow the words, and reverse. It offers the opportunity for each and every person (user) to have an insight in particular idea as it happens without censorship from the various individuals, groups or governments. What’s the best, It pays you for your contribution to the cause, it pays you for your contributed content, and this confirms why words are so valuable, and in which way actions should follow the words. Both in material and psychological sense.
Steemit is an intelligent online community of freedom fighters, crypto enthusiasts, programmers, artists, common social media users and all sorts of people from which I learned a lot in this short period of time being here. With thousands joining daily it’s diversity in thoughts and ideas with amazing open-source platform, it will be mindblowing and very enjoyable to watch how this vast ocean of creativity and positivity rises in influence on the real life community, and how it will continue to set unprecedented standards of online social media, giving everyone equal chance to be a part of the future and changes of the present as they happen, while earning from it both the money through rewards and precious knowledge.

Conclusion - Just create!
Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn't really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That's because they were able to connect experiences they've had and synthesize new things. - Steve Jobs
Our legacy is what matters the most, but legacy is not created after we are gone, it is created now, this moment. Getting the most out of our creativity capacity, being a person who contributes to life's and human ingenuity. Helping civilization to build the new horizons of ideas, creativity, altruism. It is in our nature to create... it must be our imperative to create for the sake of goodness and mankind. To create for those for who we care about and who care about us. Appreciate life, reason and life's values.
Because only through sharing goodness, you will see goodness in return.
