Welcome. People here are wary of identity theft. Perhaps add a verification photo to your introductory post? I believe you and @creatr, but this isn't ZeroHedge. We need to be who we say we are and be very open about it. Even then building a quality following is difficult.

That's one reason the #LibertyProfessionals group exists. It isn't just a channel on steemit.chat. It is meant to be a way for liberty lovers to network together. We want followers, sure, but we want them to be quality followers. There are some simple ways to gain good followers on Steemit too.

1. Resteem quality posts by others, like your post above, to make it so all of your followers see the new person.
2. Post quality replies to existing high traffic people's posts, and then have your friends upvote those replies.

Both of the strategies work best because of a chat channel. In that channel we inform each other of good posts to resteem and good replies to upvote. @brogue is how I found you for example, and he shared the info in chat.

Those two strategies are the best way to get a lot of followers in a hurry. Another way is to have a Steemit "rock star" make an introduction post in addition to your own. @hilarski did that for me, and that single post got me 50 more followers from his. Plus he paid me the 50 SBD from it!
