if people got to choose what their taxes went to pay for the system would work so much better. lets say you had to pay $100 a month and when you paid it you told the government how much of each dollar went to pay for X,Y,Z and it was not allowed to be used for anything else than things we cared about would get funded and things we felt was a waste would not get funded. I love the idea of the people having the control again.
