Wow, such a sad but truthful short story here. Needless to say, the whole world is going through similar obstacles and unfortunately the US hasn't done enough ( very few countries in general ) to promote decentralized government which in turn gives the people a voice. On the bright side, the blockchain has your back! :D Programmers are working day and night to push forward the implementation of a "free world".
