One of the profound pleasures of getting an investment call right is the ability to have a little fun.

My good friend @markpluto knows this very well. After multiple tough outings at work, Mark decided to let out some steam -- err...rather STEEM! -- with his new toy, a Mossberg 930 JM Pro, otherwise known as the Jerry Miculek Edition.

Don't Mess with the Miculek!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with firearms and firearm competitions, Jerry Miculek is the Michael Jordan of shooting sports. The man owns a number of world records, and I doubt that anybody would be able to duplicate, let alone exceed, his speed and legendary accuracy. So when Mossberg decided to team up with Jerry, well, you know that something special is about to brew.

Enter the Mossberg 930 JM Pro, a semiautomatic 12-gauge shotgun. For the ultimate in home defense, you show up with this bad boy and the baddies will be running, guaranteed! And just like the Steemit community, this Mossberg shotgun packs a powerful punch!

Buckshot or Bust!

In this video, Mark is shooting buckshot. We would have shot the tamer birdshot, but the gun range which we visited only had one box of those. Instead, we opted for the buckshot. Neither I nor Mark had any experience with this powerful ammo. We were in for an experience!

As you can tell -- and I used a dual-camera view here -- the buckshot is no joke! Both of us took some "flying lessons" when we pulled the trigger. But I must say that despite the near-abusive recoil, the Mossberg 930 holds up very well. Considering its semiautomatic fire, you do NOT want to be on the receiving end of this arsenal!

Again, for defending the home, and protecting your liberty and freedom, I don't know too many platforms that have the intimidation factor and the awe-striking firepower of the Mossberg shotgun. I would highly recommend it, as would the man himself, Jerry Miculek!
