"Democrats ask government to impose their beliefs about what agreements workers and employers may voluntarily make with each other. Republicans ask government to impose their beliefs about what agreements customers and businesses may voluntarily make with each other. Republicans ask government to impose their beliefs about whether people should be allowed to voluntarily ingest recreational drugs. Democrats ask the government to impose their beliefs about whether people should be allowed to voluntarily ingest sugar. Republicans ask the government to impose their beliefs about which people should be allowed to marry. Even with Cheetah, I would have suggested you posted the whole article here. However, US News & World Report wow that's cool.

More to the article, I quite being Republican ages ago when I realized they weren't really the party of small government, and not even the party of less government.

Now I'm not even sure voting Libertarian could effect that change. Nor do I want to go the Aleister Crowley route and vote for the biggest worst thing to cause the system to crash either.

This leaves me drifting toward Anarchy...

Unfortunately, USNews places restrictions on reprinting op-eds. This is the most I can do.
