Launching Hashtags #freecontent and #freecontent-picture : how to share rights-free content with others Steemers

Hi everyone, after putting a lot of thought into how to share and highlight open source content using steem, here’s what I came up with.

If you wish to publish and share open source content, I would suggest to classify it into a general topic : “Free-Content” to create a general category where the content is completely reusable.

As well as another category (Hashtag), that would already exist or that you would create, beginning with “freecontent” and ending with a clear topic name describing your content.

For instance #freecontent-picture.

Here’s a few general rules to follow:

1: Only one content a post, with a clear title and image

2: You shall not duplicate a post

3: One ad-free download link at least

4: A link to the content license and a specific explanation of the rights of use

5: Say if you are the autor or not

6: A link leading to this article in order to make people join this approach.

I can’t wait to read your feedback and objections about that.

PS: I’d like to translate this content in as many languages as possible to reach as many people as possible so they can give their opinion about this project, if anyone has got the required skills to do it, I’ll take it. :)
