Kristine is a Star Producer and Ambassador for the Erasing Family Documentary, a non-profit feature-length film endorsed by the American Psychological Association. She is an advocate for shared parenting and family reunification.
She has been written about in Jamil Hasan's book Block Chain Ethics, Chapter 4 "Cracking the Glass Ceiling", about her passionate opposition to predatory capitalistic policies that shred families for money. Jamil also details the story of how Krissy made money on cryptocurrency to donate to Ginger Gentile the Director of the Erasing Dad and Erasing Family social impact documentaries.
2019, she was the subject of social justice documentarian, Marykate Santalucia short biography "Krissy Smith in Five Minutes." Krissy came out in that piece as a powerful and proud voice for the "Psychiatric Survivor" and #FreeBritney movements.
Krissy has written an amicus brief for Mary Bush that was rejected by the IN THE UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE THIRD CIRCUIT "Kristine A. Smith on behalf of " “A parent's right to the companionship of his or her children areso fundamental as to be guaranteed protection under the First,Ninth, and Fourteenth Amendments of the United StatesConstitution.” 324 A 2d 90; supra 129 NJ Super, at 489.
