How to make passive money from browsing
You will need 3 things:
- Google Chrome
- Pickaxe
- Coinhive Account
Once you have those things, it's simple. Right click on the pickaxe extension in Google Chrome and select "Options". Fill out the form like so;
Make sure to replace the key wth your own or you won't be mining for yourself, you will be mining for me. Feel free to fiddle around with the settings, I find that 20% is usually the best settings for Macs, and laptops. Higher powered Windows desktops can usually go higher, but be aware that mining while playing games or doing any other processor heavy operations will affect the speed of both. To turn of mining, simply left-click on the pickaxe icon. Once it turns grey, mining is now turned off.
So, How much money can you make?
Well, after mining for about a month passively on 20 % power, I got about $2. It's not much, but remember it's 100% free! Also remember that the more computers you run this on, the more you make! If you plan on mining on a dedicated machine it's usually better to use the miner found on your coinhive dashboard. ;)
