Its a blessing indeed to have them for free. And since they appear to be mostly flat, its fairly easy to make walls out of them, even without mortar. Its still a lot of work - rocks have one downside: they are heavy. But its a matter of patience. In England they built those walls around the fields over centuries, from the stones they dug up in the fields. And such walls are a great home for lizzards. :)
