I think these thoughts, even briefly, pass by even the most tame of people. I feel that it is the innate nature of curiosity of the human being. It is when to decide to cross the boundary and try to turn that fantasy to a reality where a monster starts to form. There have been people that have just briefly wondered, "What would it feel like to kill someone?", but it would remain a curious thought.
