A Sunday Walk, Part Four
The winter is here and has got its place over the country. Even the cold is here and therefore I continue with some winter pictures. A common problem when shooting snow is getting it properly exposed. The snow is often too dark. This has a technical explanation. Our cameras are cold-lit to expose the landscape in a normal gray tone. Therefore, it may be good to overexpose something to make the snow really white.
Vintern är här och har fått sitt fäste över landet. Även kylan är här och därför fortsätter jag med lite vinter bilder. Ett vanligt problem vid fotografering av snö är att få den rätt exponerad. Ofta blir snön alldeles för mörk. Detta har en teknisk förklaring. Våra kameror är kalibrerade att exponera landskapet i en normal grå ton. Därför kan det vara bra att överexponera något för att snön verkligen ska bli vit.
