Azathoth
"[..] one night a mighty gulf was bridged, and the dream-haunted skies swelled down to the lonely watcher's window to merge with the close air of his room and make him a part of their fabulous wonder.
― H.P. Lovecraft, Azathoth
Madness and chaos reign where Azathoth dwells. The blind, idiot god sleeps, not aware even of his own existence; should he wake and be aware, the universe will shutter and end in a blink.
I tried to convey these feelings of chaos, menace and dream-haunted skies in my fractal, and reached this point where it seemed ok to me. But, as the world's harshest critic is your own self, I am having second thoughts; I wanted something darker, more foreboding - I'll have to rework this over and over.

The Azathoth fragment is one of Lovecrafts most beautiful and perfect texts. It is all his art in condensed form.
Yes, exactly this. Just three paragraphs, yet they contain all the cosmic horror and every fabled dream that he envisioned in his eldritch universe. Every sentence is like a seed, which blossomed as he expanded the ideas in his other works. Yet, this short text holds the most romantic and lyrical essence.
Here is the full text for anyone interested in it (it's really short, take a look):
