We heard that you would ban fracking if you got into power & that was the last we heard about the matter from you.
Since 2013 the Protectors have been mounting a robust defence against the frackers with camps & blockades, lock ons & slow walks.
We desperately need your help. Every day brings us nearer to watching, helplessly from behind razor wire fencing, as Cuadrilla attempts to frack Lancashire again! After their last attempt, we are convinced that they are incompetent & untrustworthy. They did not report the damaged well in the Fylde until after they caused earthquakes with their negligence.
Lancashire & their nationwide support network made it very clear that we said NO. We could not have been more loud & clear about it. Nevertheless, the government ignored us & gave Cuadrilla permission to frack at Preston New Road, Little Plumpton.
Our brave Nanas & Protectors are exhausting themselves defending the land while our keyboard warriors have been raising the troops from all around the country.
Still we are being ignored.
What will it come to? We are at our wits end now. We cannot wait until you win the next General Election, which you surely will do. We cannot sit back until then & permit this country to be drilled until it resembles a toxic tea bag!
We need your help now, right now - so that the whole country will become aware of the health risks & dangers to the aquifers that we have been warned about by our friends in Australia & the USA.
Please bring the attention we need before a single drop of frack fluid gets forced into our precious ecology.
We need you to make a stand with us.
