Passons maintenant, aux nombres en lettres.
Même s'il est vrai qu'il est plus facile de lire des nombres en chiffres...il y a certaines règles, il n'y en a pas beaucoup, auxquelles nous ne pouvons pas déroger.
Allez, on y va !
QUAND ET COMMENT LES UTILISER
DE ZERO A NEUF
On notera donc : zéro, un, deux, trois...
Les avis divergent sur ce point car certains vont jusqu'à 17, d'autres 21. A vous de voir !
On écrira également les nombres ronds.
Ex. : Cinquante, cent, mille...
UN NOMBRE UTILISÉ COMME NOM
Ex. : Elle s'est mise sur son trente-et-un.
L’ABRÉVIATION D'UNE PÉRIODE HISTORIQUE, D'UNE DÉCENNIE
Ex. : J'aime la musique des années quatre-vingt-dix.
LES FRACTIONS D'HEURES
Celles suivants midi et minuit.
Ex. : Il est rentré à minuit trente.
LES NOMBRES UTILISÉS AVEC DES SYMBOLES NON ABRÉGÉS
Ex. : La hausse a duré vingt-et-une heures. Il fait vingt-quatre degrés.
LES NOMS COMPOSÉS
Ex. : Un mille-pattes, un quatre-quart.
ET POUR FINIR, EN DÉBUT DE PHRASE
Ex. : Quarante ans après, ils se sont retrouvés.

Un doute sur la façon d’écrire UN NOMBRE EN LETTRES, c'est par ici.
