I guess something like that. There are a few stories about females and creatures that suck the life out of you. Most of them are probably based on succubi and such. The stories have evolved of course. Like how vampires are nothing like what they once were. This was based on how the image looked so white...and the idea that she sort of drains that colour from someone.
