The Lake -Entry for Week #14 Fox Tale

Jessica, approached the lake slowly, she took off all her clothes. Once naked, she touched the water with her fingers before entering the lake. She was satisfied with the temperature of the water, decided to enter, walked to where the water get over her neck and let herself to float freely on it. Her consciousness vanished as she slid toward the center of the lake, but a thought lingered in her mind. She could never accept the death of her partner. Fate took away the love of her life and not being able to go back in time to die with her, she decided to leave this beautiful and cruel world. She closed her eyes and let her body sunk to the depths of the lake. Happy to be able to meet her beloved in the afterlife one more time. Suddenly, she woke up in front of the lake again without knowing what had happened, the death of her lover returned to her mind and she walked back to the lake. Her soul was condemned to repeat over and over her trip to the lake, in an eternal cycle.
