The Eyes
Alice started seeing flashes of light in the bath. Being spiritually inclined she was sure they were angels or spirits of nature that came to visit her at last... she always suspect all the years spent meditating would one day pay off. Meanwhile she looked at herself in the mirror, trying to be sure that her eyes were alright. For a while now she was having trouble focusing in small print but oh well, it was a small price to pay if she could communicate with beings from beyond the veil. Anyway there were the glasses in the closet so there wasn't a problem. Right? Right? Right? But her image in the mirror said nothing except covering an eye while her own hands were tucked in her bathrobe pockets...
