RE: "STEEM UNITED" - A Proposal by @jackmiller (witness)

in #foundationproposal5 years ago

Let me start by saying the Kangaroo terminator is a master stroke and I'd probably kiss you(no homo) for being so creative with it and I'll also like to add that I'm posting this comment before reading the downloadable comment but this proposal leaves me with a lot of questions despite its good intention.
First of all, how does it intend to prevent doping/ manipulation?
What will be the policy on transparency because the post said it will be transparent but doesn't give any overview as to how.
Steemit is meant to be decentralized but it still seems like we're going to be falling back to steemit before anything can kick off, am I wrong about this presumption?
Finally, can Kangaroos ride bikes?

Sort:

It is all irrelevant as of today. The proposal has been withdrawn.

So all efforts on questioning of proposals can go towards those that are 'in the race'.

& to answer your question on transparency, as a sign of respect towards you as an equal, the communications and coordination center is where all actions should take place.

This way it reduces the possibility of there being overnight surprises popping up without it being totally obvious and clear to everyone that there was something going on behind peoples backs.

I hope that this makes it clearer.

Likewise, as per the proposal, the heart and soul of it was that we Steemians mould it into the best it can be, hence the backbone, soul and brains of it is us Steemians and not a handful of individuals who take it upon themselves to dictate the future of a "community" organization.

;)

Cheers.
