Fortnite season 4 Brace for impact

Fortnite season 4 has gone live today, with the long-rumoured meteor hitting Dusty Depot and the Risky Reels location added to the Battle Royale map.
Fortnite fans are now able to jump into Fortnite season 4 and unlock the new Battle Pass skins and rewards on PS4, Xbox One, Mobile, PCs and Macs.

Battle Pass
Season 4 went live after around three hours of server downtime today with the updated Battle Pass available to buy now. It will cost 950 V-Bucks.
In the Battle Pass are 7 skins, 2 harvesting tools, 3 gliders, 2 back blings and 5 new dances.

Changes in the map
One of the most eye-catching changes for Fortnite season 4 fans will be the update to the Battle Royale map.
Dusty Depot has been destroyed by the Fortnite comet which has left a huge meteor crater.
And north of Wailing Woods Fortnite fans will also find the new Risky Reels location.

Brace for impact!
The Fortnite season 4 patch notes went into big more detail about the map update.
It said: “Season 4 is starting off with a BANG. Shards of a massive comet have crashed into the map altering the landscape.“
Under the header ‘Brace for impact! New map update’ it added: “Shards of the comet have crashed!“Many locations have been transformed by its impact. Discover all new points of interest, or find your favorite landing spot changed.”

What the developer said
Will you add more maps?”, the developer said: “Yes, but not right away.
“We’ll also be looking into improving our current map, including adding more points of interest.“The latest point of interest is Lucky Landing.”
