Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix is back after 35 years!
Hi all,
It is officially announced that starting from next season, the Dutch Grand Prix returns to Formula 1 for at least three years!
That's fantastic news for expecially Max Verstappen fans here in The Netherlands!
It's been 35 years that there is not a single F1 race in The Netherlands.
There is still a lot of work to be done of course, before Zandvoort is ready to accept a big crowd and all organizations around Formula 1. But now it's officially announced and there are big sponsors behind it like Heineken and PON, I don't expect there will be much trouble around preparing for the race next year.
Let's check out the Zandvoort circuit with Max Verstappen:
I really hope this guy makes it to the top in one of the next years in F1. He obviously has a lot to learn because of his age of course, but he is hell of a driver :)
If they don't change(redesign) the track we will probably have another boring like Monaco track, with far less precision driving involved.
But let's wait and see... F1 is for sure very boring nowadays - when the highlights of the weekend are crashes during practice and Saturday's last attempt in Q3.
And here is one bonus photo from 2017 ;)
Agreed! :)
Let's wait and see what they come up with for the track design.
There is still a lot to do in order to get ready on time for next year.
