Foresting network have three parts. First is the social media FORESTING. Second is digital banking services and third is the FORESTING lab, which has the role to support the FORESTING community and content creators. FORESTING is a blockchain based social media platform that deviates from the distribution system of traditional social media.

Foresting Banks is a digital bank for content creators and curators of the Foresting network. This bank is support the financial services for them who create the content. While the FORESTING Lab supports the communities and marketing activities, especially the content creators as the owner of the FORESTING network.

Social media have the strong role in our society, since it is able to touch almost all peoples who have decent internet connection. For the example, social media are able to change the election culture. United states President Barack Obama has tweeting three words: “Four more years”! And able to gain more than 680,000 individual shares and more than 400,000 shares on Facebook.

Centralized social media

Up to 2018, there are more than 3 billion active users on social media and keep growing. Social media not limited on Facebook and Twitter only but have many others like Instagram, Pinterest, SnapChat and LinkedIn. All of those social media are able to attract lots of attention from people and lead to the growth of mobile app services and available on major smartphones.

Excessive reliance on Ad Revenue

There are several things which considered as the consequences on using the social media like the “personal information leakage and theft” and “advertisement abuse”. Other things that is also considered as the disadvantages for the users about the distribution value in traditional social media. The users perform a whole series on creating, posting and sharing the content on their own, they are not rewarded.

Second things about the value distribution is the irrationality of value distribution in revenue of content providers. Next is the participants which all of them are generating billions of dollars in value but does not earn any revenue. All of the revenue are belong to the operators and the shareholders.

Foresting network value chain

There are three parts in FORESTING network. First is the blockchain rewarding social media FORESTING. Second is the digital banking services for FORESTING participants via the direct payment from the FORESTING bank. Third is the FORESTING lab, which is providing infrastructures and supporting content creators. The starting point for the FORESTING network are comes from the content providers and participants.

FORESTING as the new concept of social media distribute the revenue generated by the content to all users who contribute to it. Users are able to get the benefit by just “likes” through the use of blockchain technologies and cryptocurrency. Blockchain technologies enable users to support content creators without losing anything.

Foresting roadmap

On FORESTING networks, there are three tech-roadmap, which has their own detailed roadmap. On first roadmap, there are three stages. First stage are the foresting network alpha test net, supernode make and wallet sample. Stage two consist of the foresting networks beta test net, fullnode make, foresting block explorer, web wallet, community site first edition, test issue of PTON token and test operation of PTON credit and cash.

During the third stage, there are foresting network mainnet launching on Android, iOS mobile wallet (light node), foresting for phone make and distribution, BLE nano ledger make, foresting scan info site, foresting dashboard site. Community site second edition, PMC for like, reward and credit evaluation.

On the second tech-roadmap, there are foresting bank launching, ensuring the confidentiality of orders and transaction, stable coin issue or pegging for value stability, acquire liquidity and inter operate gateway, create foresting storage node and gadgets.
