well, @sadkitten. i understand the general idea of this movement, but the probelm is you shouldn't downvote earlier posts. As you said, you don't even look at the contents of the posts. Then, more appropriate action would be downvoting from the point where you give the first warning. WARN FIRST AND THEN DOWNVOTE NEW POSTS IF THEY DON'T LISTEN. You're doing good thing but in a very wrong way. you may not even read my comments. jesus.

I'll take what you've said into consideration. We down vote first because we have found words to be ineffective, down votes are the only thing people really listen to.

I agree with "down votes are the only thing people really listen to." but do it after warning. I don't understand why it's so hard to understand.
I'm making a game dapp on steemit for people to use steemit more, and very proud of it. It's not like randomly repeated posting to seek money. You really should upvote for compensating the categorical downvotes, but I don't expect that much.
Again, I completely agree with your idea if you do downvote after warning. Change you downvoting rule, please. if your purpose is to help steemit.
