Liverpool retreat from Keita deal !!
Liverpool have agreed not to sign Guinean international Nabi Keita of Leipzig during the summer transfer period.
Leipzig has announced that it will not sell the player during the current period on more than one occasion because of the Champions League next season as well as the Bundesliga.
The Daily Mail newspaper reported that Liverpool had decided to withdraw from the 22-year-old Keita deal after they made two offers, with the last offer estimated at 66 million pounds sterling but was rejected.
Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp tried to strengthen his team's position by signing Keita after a season in the Bundesliga season, scoring eight goals and making the likes of Leipzig.
Keita had been in a clash with teammate Diego Deme recently, but Leipzig has stuck to the player, refusing to leave for any club.
Liverpool are set to return for Keita's services but next summer they have a penalty clause of £ 48 million.
Liverpool have signed three players this summer, Mohamed Salah of Rome, Dominique Solanaki of Chelsea, and finally Andy Robertson of Hull City.
