Socialist experiment of football professor

        The subject this essay is one very instructive story which happened in one of the best football clubs of England. It will be a question of the London Arsenal, the headed by famous French coach Arsène Wenger. The Frenchman not only trained football players, but still took almost all spheres of economic activity of club under control. He has degree of the master of economic sciences and knows several languages for what fans nicknamed it "professor". Wenger came to the Arsenal in 1996 and already in the 2nd season led team to a gold double - a championship title and a cup of England. And it was not single success - almost whole decade the Arsenal was one of the most dangerous rival, having won several trophies, and also having become in a season of 2003/04 the champion, having avoided defeats - it in England didn't happen since 1889!

        But after 2005 the drought of  trophies which continued 9 long years followed. Fans and experts made many analyses of the reasons of this drought. The main reasons consisted in construction and moving on brand new 60-thousand stadium, worth 400 million pounds sterling, and also emergence in teams of opponents of new owners - "rich persons" who didn't stint purchases of the best players. So Abramovich, having bought Chelsea, in the following several years I spent more than one billion dollars for purchases of players! An arsenal - one of the few clubs which conduct the balanced economic policy and make profit for the owners. The arsenal sold the star players for good money, and bought young and perspective.

        All of it seems quite logical - the team lacked stars, here it also didn't show result. However many experts paid attention that despite weaker selection of players, than at the main opponents, the salary sheet of the Arsenal not strongly was inferior to competitors! It became clear that "professor" used "equalization" in team - stars often received only one and a half times more, than the reserve who are seldom appearing in the field. In the Arsenal the socialist principle - "from everyone on abilities - everyone on requirements" worked. As a result young players received many times a big salary, than in any other club of the world the player of their level received. At the same time stars of club received many times the smaller sums, than in other top clubs. It turned out that high salaries only hinder most of perspective young players - many just ceased to progress, resting on laurels and enjoying life, at many long-term contracts for 4-5 years were concluded. And it was impossible to sell them in other club before the expiration of the contract since other clubs didn't want to pay them at the same level, and players refused to leave with essential decrease in earnings. Stars envied players in other top clubs and as soon as possible left (often before end of term of the contract). And we speak about the people receiving 2-5 million pounds sterling a year!

        As a result the idea with "socialism" in separately taken club completely failed. The coach had to wait for the termination of the contract at the players who didn't live up to expectations, having released many as a result it is free. And only after left dozen of "excess" players, considerably having facilitated the salary sheet, Arsen in the summer of 2013 could buy at last the star player for the decent sum. And it worked! The team started and began to bring stable results, and on May 17, 2014 Arsenal won a long-awaited, first trophy in nine years.

        Whether it is possible to tell after all this that the socialist ideas - it is bad? I would tell on another - all of us should grow to socialism. To re-educate people that they could be content small, it isn't possible yet, in monks to tire out all it won't turn out. However development of  technical progress will allow to exempt people from hard and low-skilled work sooner or later and to provide people with the guaranteed ensuring basic needs. It will be that's when possible to come back to the socialist principles...
