UCL winning Liverpool powerhouse on the verge of signing for European giants

Liverpool's midfielder Emre Can has been associated with a move to Juventus for quite a long time.

However, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Serie A giants, disappointed with the fact that nothing has been settled yet, have given the Red's player a 7-day deadline to sign a pre-contract agreement with the Old Lady.

The Turin club have been leading the pursuit to sign Emre Can who has been hesitating to sign a contract renewal at Anfield. There were rumours in the winter which stated that the German had verbally agreed to join Juventus.

The German international's current contract at Liverpool terminates this summer and he is free to join any club outside of England as the Merseysiders do not want to see him play for a Premier League rival club.

Manchester City were also sporadically considered to have an interest in the 24-year-old, but nothing has come of it.

Even if the deal will be signed now, No. 23 will only make a move to Juventus when the summer transfer window reopens in the summer.
