Lucas Torreira finally joins Arsenal

Gunners continues to strengthen their back as they finally announced the signing of defensive midfielder Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria. 22-year-old Uruguayan, who did amazing job to help his national squad on their way reach World Cup quarterfinals with impressive clean sheet record, agreed five-year-deal at the Emirates. Unai Emery spent €30 million on a player who will be wearing No.11 shirt.

Taking into account Arsenal's deficit of decent destroyer this signing looks quite promising especially when you eye Torreira’s Serie A stats:
