Defending Champions Man City brush aside Emery’s Arsenal with predictable 2:0 win

Manchester City made a good start of their new Premier League campaign after comfortable 2:0 away win over Arsenal. Unai Emery’s side with Petr Czech between the sticks and new-arrived youngster Matte Guendouzi among starting 11 conceded first goal on 14th minute, allowing Raheem Sterling to dribble on the edge of the box with ease before producing fine curly effort. After the break Gunners looked improved with sub Alexandre Lacazette making the moves towards goal but despite that Citizens produced their second goal of the game with Bernardo Silva scoring clinical finish. Unai Emery still have a lot of work to do.

Man City full-back Benjamin Mendy, who left entire 2017/18 season on injury, produced both assists on the game
In previous EPL Arsenal finished 6th and finally had their long-serving manager Arsene Wenger replaced with new man Unai Emery

It's a great start to the season for City, I loved the first goal, what a way to control the ball. I also noticed that it was not the best day for Kun, several clear scoring opportunities were missed, and above all, the advantage could have been wider.

Great start of the season for the citizens.
