Manchester United defeat Derby County in FA Cup Third Round Match

As a Manchester United fan, it's been a rough season. A season that started really promising, started falling apart and it has been a struggle ever since. A struggle made more pronounce by our neighborhood rivals, Manchester City's dominance in the league.

So we do what we can, we celebrate the little wins. So yes, we WON!!!!! But it wasn't the easiest of wins as it took us almost 84 minutes of play for us to score the first goal.

I must confess, after the first half and it was still goalless, I was becoming a bit afraid. (Remember Bristol City?).

But when Romelu Lukaku was introduced into the game, his passion in the attack brought about two goals in the last ten minutes of the game.

The first came from the man on fire himself, Jesse Lingard, with an assist from Lukaku.

Then for the second goal, Anthony Martial set up Lukaku.

Was it a convincing win? Who cares, we'll take it.

In the other FA cup match of the night, Liverpool defeated Everton in another Merseyside Derby. James Milner and new boy, Virgil Van Dijk scored on both sides of a Siggurdson goal.

There will be more FA cup matches today with Chelsea and Manchester City both in action
