Carolina gets destroyed by New Orleans who is also a weak team
The NFC South is truly pathetic this year. There isn't a single standout team in the division and they are going to get absolutely mauled when the one team of the 4 goes to the playoffs. None of the others will be invited to a wild card playoff spot.
Every team in the NFC South has losing records with 6-7 being what all but one of them have. Carolina is a standout team though that would likely lose to some of the better high-school teams in the nation. They are sitting at a pathetic 1-12 right now with zero chance of recovery.
When they played against New Orleans this past weekend I, like many other Carolina fans, knew that they were going to lose and look terrible on the field and I wasn't surprised when that was exactly what they did.

Why bother even chasing him? Just let him into the end zone eh defense?
Something happened this week that as far as I know hasn't happened to the much troubled Panthers this year when their special teams absolutely fell apart on a punt (which they do a lot of since getting 10 yards seems nearly impossible for Carolina) and New Orleans appeared to simply walk through the defense and easily block a punt and return it for a touchdown.
Seriously, this sort of stuff almost never happens and Carolina just look like hapless fools out there.

We can't even blame punter Johnny Hekker for this mishap. He handled the snap perfectly and got the ball out of there as fast as he could. The problem is that the defensive line seems to have the blocking capabilities of an elementary school team playing red-rover.
Going into this game the Saints were a mere -200 favorite for a straight bet win and 5.5 on the point spread. I feel as though you could take either one of those bets and be assured you are going to win. Carolina is seriously that bad and I don't know why the bookmakers were giving them as much credit as they did. I think that Vegas is losing a ton of money on Carolina games because an overwhelming 91% of bets were places on New Orleans for the straight win.
Carolina didn't see the end zone a single time during the game and the closest they got was one time that they were inside the red zone but had to settle for a 29 yard field goal. This was on an abysmal 4th and 11 as well. I stopped watching the game at this point because my frustration has limits. I'm glad I didn't watch the 4th quarter because NO went on to score an additional 2 touchdowns in the waning moments and this surprised absolutely no one.
Bryce Young managed to complete a terrible 13 of 36 passes and I think this tiny fellas is rattled because he is afraid of throwing more interceptions. Therefore he is being conservative with his passing. I can't imagine how terrified he must be every single snap because his offensive line is so terrible that he is constantly in terrible danger of getting absolutely destroyed in a sack. It is amazing to me that he was only sacked 4 times this game because once again, the offensive line was leaving him just a few seconds to make a choice before the NO defense was all over him. This is likely a big part of the reason why he ended up with a terrible QB rating of 48.0, which while I am not sure, might be one of the worst of the season for any team.
Is Carolina intentionally flubbing the rest of the season for draft picks? At this point I don't even think this is the case because they look so bad out there that I honestly believe they are trying to win, they are just completely incapable of it.
They have the Atlanta Falcons at home next week and Atlanta is a terrible team as far as the overall NFL is concerned but they too are in the NFC South. At the moment the Falcons are a mere -165 favorite on a straight bet. I'm telling you... TAKE THAT BET. At this point I think Carolina would struggle to win against a team that only fielded 9 players. Even though I am have been a fan of Carolina since they first became a team I don't think they can win against anyone and their one win this year against Houston was a fluke.
