League Champions, Manchester City who are still in contention for the quadruple this season, will be facing Brighton & Hove Albion while Watford will trade tackles with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Man City had to come from two goals behind to controversially see off Championship opposition, Swansea City.

In the final 21 minutes, first was a contentious penalty awarded to Raheem Sterling and then a Sergio Aguero winner who scored from a seemingly offside position.

These contentious calls in the absence of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) would increase the calls for the introduction of the technology in English football.

Brighton on the other hand had to score two late goals in the last 10 minutes of regulation time to force extra time and then penalty shootout to oust another Championship side, Millwall who looked destined to eliminate the Premier League side, with just 10 minutes on the clock.

Brighton celebrate March's tail-end equaliser.

An over-hit free kick by Solly March at the tail end of the game stretched the game for the visitors who then went on to triumph 4-5 on penalties.

Wolverhampton Wanderers caused arguably the biggest upset of the round when they eliminated Manchester United at The Molineux stadium.

Andre Gray celebrates his goal against Man United.

Goals by Diogo Jota and Andre Gray proved too much for United, despite Marcus Rashford grabbing a consolation late on.

The ties will come up on the 6th and 7th of April.
