Transfer Gist: Barcelona Hijack Roma Malcom Deal

Barcelona have released a statement annoucning stating they have agreed a £36.7 million deal with Bordeaux over the transfer of Malcom which could rose to £37.3 million.

Malcom was being courted by a host of Premier League sides including Tottenham and Arsenal. He was few hours ago reported to have agreed a move to Roma but that seem not to be the case any longer.

The 21-year old is due to arrive in Spain on Tuesday where he will undergo a medical and photoshoot session before joining his new teammates in the right tour of The United States.

The Brazilian youngster will sign a five-yeağ contract with the Catalan club until the 2022/2023 season.

He scored 23 goals on 96 appearances for Bordeaux since joining the Ligue 1 club from Corinthians in 2016.
