Mislintat To Quit Arsenal

Arsenal have confirmed that Head of recruitment, Sven Mislintat will be quitting his role in February.

It was earlier in the week reported that the German had fallen out with new Director of football, Raul Sanllehi over the club's transfer policy.

Contrarily, Mislintat claims to have enjoyed his stay at the Emirates and is relishing what the future holds.

He was snapped up from Borussia Dortmund in December 2017 after he had a glorious spell helping the current Bundesliga table toppers bring in a lot of young and fine prospects.

Arsenal brought in Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Henrikh Mhkitaryan, both formerly of Dortmund.

He was also instrumental in the signing of young Greek defender Kostantinos Mavropanos who although hasn't featured much for the Gunners due to injury is believed to be one of the hottest prospects in Europe.

Under his reign, Arsenal were also vibrant earlier this summer with the signings of Matteo Guendozi, Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno and Stephan Lichsteiner on free transfer from Juventus.
