Koscielny Boost For Arsenal

Former France International, Laurent Koscielny is closing in on a return to action to give Arsenal a much needed boost in defence.

The 33-year old last played for Arsenal on May 3 in the Europa League as they crashed out to eventual champions, Atletico Madrid in the semifinal.

Koscielny suffered from an achilles injury which subsequently ruled him out of France's triumph at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Having already missed over three months in the new campaign the Arsenal captain has been slowly reintegrated into the team by new manager Unai Emery.

The Arsenal manger has said they are not going to rush the defender back and would take their time for him to regain full fitness.

The Spaniards however hopes to have his captain back after the upcoming international break with the club already missing, Nacho Montreal, Mavropanos Kostantinos and Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
