Gonalons Joins S Sevilla On Loan From AS Roma

AS Roma have confirmed that midfielder, Maxime Gonalons has departed to join Spanish side, Sevilla on loan.

The 29-year old joins the Seville club on a loan deal until the end of July 2019 and the deal does not include an option to make the move permanent.

Gonalons is brought in as a direct replacement for compatriot, Steven Nzonzi who moved in the opposite direction few days after Sevilla lost the Spanish Super Cup to Barcelona.

The French midfielder joined Roma from Olympique Lyon just last summer and made 23 appearances in all competitions.

He becomes manager Pablo Machin's eighth signing of the summer with the new manager still setting his eyes on one more defender before the window shuts.
