Like I stated in one of my posts earlier, the break was more like a needed refreshment for some players and it turned out our Player of the Gameweek 5, Eden Hazard is one.

The Belgium International having led his country to a third place finish at the World Cup in Russia was rested at the beginning of the campaign making cameo appearances in the first couple of games.

He seems to have hit the ground running since then, with his recent show over the weekend, netting a hatrick against Cardiff City.

On the 37th minute, he took on a flick pass from Olivier Giroud before firing past Neil Etheridge in goal to draw Chelsea level after Sol Bamba had given the visitors a surprise lead.

Hazard, assisted again by Giroud got his second of the day in the 57th minute before converting from the spot after Willian was fouled by Bamba in the eighteen yard box late in the game.

Willian scored a goal towards the end of the game to complete Chelsea's 4-1 victory.

The Belgium captain has now scored five goals already in five Premier League matches and sits comfortably at the top of the Scorers chart.
