All very good points. The sport has been ruined by money, but then again all sports are affected this way. Money is such an unbelievable constraint on pregress and on clarity.
I alsi find it a pity that something that is supposed to be fun and a hobby, as it was in the beginning has now crossed a line that is (probably) irreversible.
