Nice duel threat guy. I was surprised by his speed. He looks lanky. Love seeing that deep ball. If he is able to move the ball effectively and move the chains then he will be scary when he goes deep.
Solid young player, lotta pressure starting QB as a freshman.
As only a 3-star, I feel he had a great start until his suspension. I get it, kids are kids, but with that kind of opportunity in front of you...
Some need more guidance than others. Many had rough upbringings. Coaches can only do so much.
Will be interesting to see what happens with the rest of his career.

Cam thomas is well aware many things can happen between now and September. Starting positions can be won. Stating positions can be lost. That's why the Marian Catholic graduate is doing everything in his power — getting bigger, faster and stronger — to make sure he's under center Sept. 1 when Illinois opens the 2018 football season against Kent State.
