Hello guys. The premier league gameweek six ended last week with different mixed results across the English top flight league. After returning from European duties last week, some of the big sides struggled due to fatigue and points were dropped as well. The relegation battle is already heating up while the champions league place is still up for grabs after some big teams failed to replicate their form over the weekend.

Defending champions Manchester City were just too good for newly promoted Cardiff City who are still without a win in the league this season. The Citizens are without Kevin De Bruyne who suffered a knee injury last month and is expected to be back by November, David Silva was also rested for that particular fixture. Cardiff are yet to record a win in the premier league this season as they are level on points with Huddersfield in the relegation zone.

Table toppers and title favorites Liverpool welcomed Southampton to Anfield where the hosts won by three goals to nill. Klopp's men are the only team in the premier league this season to still maintain their 100% record and might continue with this form should the trio of Mane, Firmino and Salah remain uninjured. Liverpool face a tough test next week as they will travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea who drew away to West Ham United.

Manchester United welcomed Wolverhampton to Old Trafford Stadium where former coach and club legend Sir Alex Ferguson was present after a brief illness. The match ended in a stalement as both teams rue missed chances. Mourinho's men were leading before half time and Moutinho equalized for the visitors shortly after the second half. Manchester United have just three win from six games so far this season, and manager Jose Mourinho has been criticized this season for the way he's managing his team.

Chelsea traveled to the London Stadium to take on West Ham United who are led by former Manchester City boss, Manuel Pellegrini. The blues were the better side in the first minutes of the game as they held possession. Manuel Pellegrini's men were smart enough to sit deep and relied on counter attacks against Chelsea which should have paid off should they have used their missed chances properly. Chelsea were frustrated as star player, Eden Hazard was man marked and the remaining team mates didn't help either. The Blues 100% start to the new season was cut short by the draw against the Hammers.

Arsenal and Tottenham were worthy winners against Everton and Brighton respectively. Arsenal now have four straight league wins since their defeat against Chelsea last month. While Tottenham who last to Inter Milan in the champions league returned back to winning ways against Brighton.
