Athletic Bilbao Club Colours

Did you know that Atletic Bilbao first kits were in colours of Blackburn Rovers - half white, half blue.

But there had been that student from Bilbao, who was delegated with a mission to buy 25 pieces of Blackburn kits. He couldn't find enough, so he didn't bought any.

On a way back home, waiting for his ship on port Southampton, he noticed that local football club colors matched these of the city of Bilbao. So he bought 50 pieces and since then the club is playing in red-white stripes.
